PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Thank you for taking the time to learn about one of the nation's most valuable resources -- the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Inc. and its 47 member Public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The Fund is the only national organization that awards merit-based scholarships to students attending Public HBCUs.

Thurgood Marshall College Fund's 47 member Public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have provided countless leaders who have made tremendous contributions to our nation and society for more than 168 years.

TMCF is a critical link between deserving students having greater access to higher education and the opportunity to become part of a new generation of leaders. More than 80 percent of all students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities are enrolled in our member colleges and universities.

Since its inception in 1987, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund has provided more than 6,000 students with scholarships. Today, our organization provides programmatic and capacity building support that impacts 232,000 students and strengthens our member schools. The result of this support has benefited our nation in ways that will reward each of us for many years.
